Fairmont Hotels & Resorts Moves into Northern China
Fairmont Hotels & Resorts has unveiled plans for a new luxury hotel to be located in Taiyuan, the capital of Shanxi Province in Northern China. The property is expected to be open for guests in 2014 and will feature a range of amenities including a spa and 3,500-square-meters of function space. Primaris REIT’s $572 Million Acquisition
Primaris Retail REIT has recently completed a $572 million acquisition from Ivanhoe Cambridge. The five retail shopping centre’s are located in Ontario, Alberta and Quebec and consist of a cumulative gross leasable area of 2,514,000-square-feet. Click here to find out mroe about the acquisition.
BOMA BC Awards Gala Winners
The 2011 BOMA BC Awards Gala dolled out eight awards for the best in the business. The award recipients ranged from Cadillac Fairview for the FMC Law Project who took home Tenant Improvement of the Year to Guinness Tower, managed by Oxford Properties Group who received the EARTH Award.
