Royal Host Announces Appointment of Chief Operating Officer

Royal Host Inc. recently announced the appointment of Michael Bobbitt as Senior Vice President of Asset Management and Chief Operating Officer, effective August 8, 2011. John Carnella, Royal Host's President & CEO commented, "We are pleased to announce the hiring of Michael Bobbitt as our Senior Vice President of Asset Management and Chief Operating Officer. During his over twenty-year career in lodging, Michael has held a series of progressive positions both at the hotel level, in hotel sales and as a hotel general manager and at the corporate level, most recently as a regional Vice President with portfolio responsibilities. Michael is a seasoned leader with a deep understanding of hotel operations and, as such, he is well-suited for this role. I look forward to welcoming him to our team."
In conjunction with Mr. Bobbitt's appointment, the Board of Directors has approved the issuance of 47,827 options to purchase Royal Host common shares to Mr. Bobbitt at an Option Price of $1.25 per common share, the other terms and conditions of which will be in accordance with Royal Host's Incentive Stock Option Plan. |
